About Us
The goal behind our faculty experience efforts is that each one of our faculty members reach their potential and achieve professional satisfaction and joy in work. Dr. Urmimala Sarkar is the Department of Medicine’s Associate Chair for Faculty Experience. She works closely with the other members of the Chair’s Council to improve faculty experience across all sites and mission areas. She completed her internal medicine residency and research training in the department and has been a member of the faculty since 2008. Her remarkable colleagues are a highlight of her work experience and inspire her every day.
